CB1 Heavy duty KerbStopper Buffers, 150mm wide x 130mm high can be securely bolted down on to concrete or asphalt. Positioned approximately 2.5 metres away from walls, fences, street furniture or any other hazard, vehicles are kept at a safe distance from property.
Maximum safe height: They are designed not to cause any damage to vehicles. Kerbstopper Buffers give the HGV drivers a clear warning that their rear wheels are parked correctly. Pre-drilled fixing kits and bolt down plates are supplied with all the fixing bolts for concrete or asphalt.
For extra safety and maximum effect, KerbStopper Buffers are cut to the exact size to suit your site plus or minus 10mm. Our cutting service is free of charge.
Installation is simple, there is no marking out: Drill through the corner holes in the bolt down fixing plates using a 13mm masonry drill for asphalt and a 14mm masonry drill for concrete. We supply all the fixing anchor bolts and plugs with detailed fixing instructions.
KerbStopper Buffers can be positioned in short lengths in clearly marked out trailer and parking bays or in continuous lengths creating a zone where pedestrians can walk safely.
Reduce the risk of accidental damage to columns, concrete pillars and lighting columns, etc. They can also be used to divert traffic and enforce a new or temporary site layout and be quickly re-sited. KerbStopper Buffers are manufactured in solid EPDM rubber for a tough service life. The product absorbs impact and quickly recovers back to its original shape when the load is removed.
The KerbStopper Buffer profile is the maximum height of buffer that all HGV trailers can be parked safely against without any damage, in particular damage to the mud flaps. When installed the KerbStopper Buffer will follow the shape and camber of site roads and car park surfaces. |

Questions and Answers
Why use rubber instead of concrete or asphalt to park against?

We are the manufacturers and we offer a cut-to-size service. Most installations are cut lengths of around 1.5 metres positioned in the parking bay to stop the vehicle safely without damaging your property.
Are they big enough to stop a triple axle trailer?
Our CB1/B (all black) KerbStopper is used by major logistics companies to park their trailers safely. We have designed the largest block of rubber to get the maximum response from the driver and park safely. |
