Pedestrian Steel Barriers, 1100mm high are a well proven safety product that has been used for crowd control for years. Keeping people and pedestrians away from hazardous areas is an important safety feature. Hot dipped galvanised after manufacture for maximum corrosion resistance and a medium term service life.

Each Pedestrian Barrier interlocks securely together allowing you to create a clear safety zone any length from 3 metres upwards. The Barriers can either be assembled in a straight or staggered line or shaped to form a square or rectangle.

Very stable, the proportions of the steel Pedestrian Barrier
and the built in stabilising metal legs make this a very straightforward safety product to use, easy to transport and very quick to install.

Safety Fencing Panels, 2 metres high x 3 metres long are used on major construction sites. The Safety Fencing Panels simply slot into the heavyweight recycled black plastic base and are locked securely together with a two part split metal clamp that can be positioned and tightened after assembly.

Trouble free installation: The Safety Fencing Panels can be quickly assembled in a straight or staggered line or shaped to form a square or rectangle. Rigid plastic printed hazard warning and safety information signs can be simply clipped on to the steel mesh using cable ties.

The proven design gives maximum flexibility to cordoning off hazardous areas and creating safety walkways for pedestrians. Safety Fencing Panels are very stable and stay in place even in high gusting winds.

The panels are very stackable to allow for easy transportation to site and they are light enough to be put into their final position by a two man team. Alterations can take effect very quickly, the whole system can be broken down and reassembled into a new shape or line in minutes. If you would like more information on this product or any other any safety equipment featured in this literature, please call our sales team.

Questions and Answers
Are Safety Fencing Panels easy to move about?
Yes, designed to be quickly stripped down and moved into a new position and can be rebuilt in a different shape keeping your site options open.

Good quality traffic cones for industrial use in car parks, restricted areas, retail parks and site works. Sizes 450mm to 750mm high. Cones have weighted base for stability and reflective white sleeves for high visibility both day and night. Compact design, easily stored, simply stack on top of each other.

Cone Covers - safety messages on cones: Printed cone covers with a wide choice of warnings and safety messages. The cover slips over the cone making a range of free-standing signs easy to transport, store and use.

LM1 Lane Markers are red cylinders with a white reflective sleeve for visibility day and night. They lock into both solid rubber ground sockets and Traffic Logs and have a secure and concealed fixing.

SWB/1 Swingback Bollards have a powerful spring mechanism to return and keep the cylinder in the upright position.

CS/1 ConeStopper rubber base keeps traffic cones firmly in place. A 750mm high traffic cone top locks into position at any point along the rubber ConeStopper base. The solid unbroken line of cones creates a “wall of cones” that is very stable and cannot move out of line. No creeping towards traffic or moving in high gusting winds.

QuickCones are a flat pack design of cones that are sturdy when snapped into the up position. They can then be collapsed down for easy storage and are ideal to have in the boot of a car. Warning messages can be applied.

STUD/1 Stainless Steel Road Stud, made from austentic stainless steel (18% Chrome, 8% Nickel) specially heat treated for toughness, strength and rust resistance. Fishtail or chisel shank to avoid twisting after application.

Questions and Answers
I want to install some Lane Cylinders on a busy garage forecourt.
Use Swing back Bollards. They are adapted Lane Cylinders and they have a built in powered spring to keep the cylinder in the upright safe position.

TS/1 Traffic Separators are used for traffic management schemes and projects. The unique interlocking design quickly forms a continuous and solid looking barrier to suit your site layouts. The linking joints are barely visible giving the barrier a solid appearance and unbeatable strength. Standard height of the Traffic Separator is 600mm high. For extra warning and added safety an extension block can be added to increase the maximum height of the barrier up to 800mm.

Manufactured in UV stabilised tough plastic material for a long service life, the Separators can be either gravel or water filled (there is a drain plug in the base for easy emptying of water). Other colours are available on request, the standard is red and white.

TL/1 Traffic Logs are solid moulded from recycled plastic. Each log weighs 40 kilos. With a simple butt joint, Logs can be laid out to suit most site layouts. Standard colours are red, white and black. Rope handles are for easy handling.

Lane Cylinders can be fixed securely into the top of each Traffic Log. Reflective sleeves give drivers a clear warning in low light.

SGB/1 Safegate Barriers assemble into a strong and very stable safety barrier. A metre high Barrier section consists of a steel tubular frame with bright reflective red and white warning panels.

The Barrier system will take the best shape to offer protection for the hazard on your site. Safegate Barriers securely lock together with solid plastic clips.

Assemble either in a staggered row or box around all types of hazards such as open manhole and service covers. Special warning and health and safety signage can be easily applied to Safegate Barriers for maximum effect using the latest low cost digital printing.

Questions and Answers
What’s inside the red and white Traffic Separators?
They can be filled with either water or sand.

Is the Safegate Barrier the one used by telecom engineers?
Same design but our specification is designed for “off highway” use so you can use Health & Safety and Warning Signs to make people aware of hazards.

Glass Reinforced Plastic Walkway is easy to manoeuvre around sites, it weighs just over 10 kilos per metre. The walkway has a high fire retardant class 1 fire rating so that it complies with building regulations and can be used at any site. Extra wide 450mm walkway has a moulded textured surface in strips down the entire length creating a non-slip product with maximum grip for extra safety for site personnel.

Machine cut to plus or minus 10mm the Walkway is available in standard lengths of 3 metres long, the manufacturing process can provide the Walkway in machine cut lengths up to 8 metres long. Weight is an important issue but with correct handling the longer lengths can be really useful providing Walkways with the minimum number of joints.

The Walkway is totally waterproof and non-corrosive giving a long service life in excess of 15 years. The maximum loading per 3 metre section is 300 kilos which causes a controlled deflection in the middle of the section of just a few centimetres.

Self-coloured, the Walkway can be shipped in its natural colour, off white, or strong pigments can be introduced to the resins to colour the Walkway during the manufacturing process. For extra strength there is a very high ratio of glass to resin specification approx. 90 percent glass and 10 percent resin.

The GRP pultrusion manufacturing process is very complex to set up and trial, it takes up to a week to get a long production run started,

Questions and Answers
Can we carry it safely around our site?
The Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic weighs just over 10 kilos per metre so the maximum length of 3 metres can be safely carried on site. Longer lengths not only require more than two man handling but the Walkway gets bulky and difficult to manoeuvre.

What’s Class 1?
A British standard for fire rating, using these types of resins makes sure that the Walkway is not a fire hazard when stored on site.
